What Move for Hunger Does & How to Get Involved!
“Move for Hunger is creating one of the nation’s largest year-round service programs!” Are you moving into a new Westover apartment home or just want to clean out your pantry? Don’t throw anything away just yet! All you have to do is set aside your unopened, non-perishable food items and the Move for Hunger crew will pick it up and deliver it to local families in need! Or if you are already living at a Westover community, you can get involved by participating in Westover’s Giving Tuesday event! Westover works with Move for Hunger all year round! Our leasing teams at each Westover property are always willing to collect canned food items for those in need, so please do not hesitate to stop in your leasing office to donate any day of the year!
What is Westover doing for Giving Tuesday?
Westover Companies is collecting canned food items to donate in honor of the Move for Hunger Organization. For every 1.2 pounds of food collected, it ends up being an entire meal for somebody. There are about forty-one million Americans that face hunger every day according to the Move for Hunger Organization. Although we can not help everyone, we can certainly make an impact by coming together to help local families in need.
Westover’s Giving Tuesday Food Drive!
Do you live at a Westover Property? In order to participate in Westover’s Giving Tuesday, all you have to do is bring a canned food item to your community’s leasing office! So when you are out there shopping for your Thanksgiving dinner items, pick up an extra can to donate! Your contribution can make a huge difference for someone in need. Westover encourages you to participate in this wonderful cause so that we can help provide meals for our neighbors in need!
