Tis the Season to be Spooky!
Along with many holidays in 2020, Halloween may look different for some as well! You may choose to trick or treat from door to door like you would normally, but here is a list of Halloween alternatives that you can do this weekend that will help maintain social distancing!
1.) Trick Or Treat In Your Apartment Home!
Have a household member hide treats around your apartment home! You can make a contest out of it by who can collect the most candy within a certain amount of time!
2.) Plan a Spooky Movie Night
Nothing is better than cuddling up with a cozy blanket and some popcorn while watching some of your favorite scary movies. Here are a few great scary movies that are available on Netflix and Disney+.
- Hocus Pocus (Disney+)
- Halloween Town (Disney+)
- The Haunted Mansion (Disney+)
- House of the Witch (Netflix)
- Sleep Hollow (Netflix)
- The Adams Family (Netflix)
3.) Halloween Pumpkin DIY Fun!
There are so many fun crafts you can do for Halloween. Carving a pumpkin is the most common, but you can try to get creative this year and paint a pumpkin! Grab some of your favorite paint colors and have a pumpkin painting party on Halloween with your family! When they are dry, you can sit them outside your apartment door for the neighbors to see!
4.) Virtual Halloween Costume Party!
Make sure to put on your best costume and have a virtual Halloween party with friends and family! Make yourself some of your favorite party snacks and set up some fun games to play!
If you plan to do the traditional “Trick or Treating” from door to door, please try your best to stay safe! Happy Halloween!
